Thailand – 26 December 2023 – The number of foreign tourists is continually expanding due to the government’s “Free Visa Scheme” fostering the revival of Thailand’s economic growth Following the implementation of the Visa Exemption policy the number of Chinese tourists has climbed to 72.49% with Kazakh tourists predicted to increase to 49.70% reflecting the potentiality and popularity of Thailand as a famous tourist destination.

 AOT will accelerate its airport expansion to prepare for booming growth of tourism industry in the future and to drive sustainable growth of Thai tourism industry Airports of Thailand Public Company Limited (Plc), or AOT will expand its airport capabilities, for example, facilitating Free Visa tourists, managing traveling routes, and enhancing service accessibility. Additionally, the development of the airport phase 3 will improve facilities and provide memorable experiences for foreign tourists.
